I already mentioned TimezAttack by these guys.  Now they have division and soon they will have addition and subtraction by the end of the year.  These are top notch games even if you only use the free version.  The paid versions offer different graphics.  The students will love playing these interactive games and yet still be learning math.

PBS Learning Media

PBS Learning Media integrates digital media into the classrooms.  I found this site from CET newsletter.  It has over 14,000 resource based instructional resources including videos, images, audio files, mobile apps, lesson plans, and worksheets.  There is a free sign up which gives you access to have full access to the resources and save favorites.

Teach Different

TeachDifferent.com is a website that I have used while teaching 6th grade computer lab a couple years ago.  It's been updated since then and looks like it has lots of resources for teaching computer lab.  I plan to use the Internet Safety section soon.  There are lesson plans for using Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.  I used the Excel part a couple years ago.

Science Online - Facts on File

You may have access to this website.  This site has articles, diagrams, videos, experiments, biographies, timelines of many subject areas including biology, chemistry, computer science, environmental science, forensic science, marine science, mathematics, physics, space and astronomy, weather and climate.  Lots of the experiments and diagrams can be downloaded as pdfs and saved to your computer.

Teacher's Domain

Teachers' Domain is a free digital media service for educational use from public broadcasting and its partners. You’ll find thousands of media resources, support materials, and tools for classroom lessons, individualized learning programs, and teacher professional learning communities.  You will need to sign up to get unlimited access, but it is free.  The categories of videos include Math, Science, Language, Social Studies, and Art.  The site is associated with Zoom, CyberChase, Between the Lions, Nova and more.  I have used this site to show me how to an experiment, step by step, from a video.  It even indicates the Ohio Standards and a written explanation "Background Essay" for each video.

EasyBib

http://www.easybib.com/  This is the easiest way to cite a reference.  Enter the website, the book, the newspaper, and more into the entry box, click the "Cite this" and reference is cited with the correct format.  It uses MLA | APA | Chicago/Turabian formats.  To cite a book all you need to do is input the name of the book and it searches for the books by that name and you choose which one.  Then it automatically cites it.  Thanks Lynda for this connection.  It works great!
